Family calls for answers 20 years after Greensboro’s man’s cold case murder: ‘He was just lifeless’

Brian Haynes, the father of his son, Jason Haynes who was murdered in a cold case in Greensboro, North Carolina, has called for answers 20 years after his death. The last time Brian Haynes saw Jason alive was on March 26, 2006, when he was asked to go out for a night out with his friend, Dave Haynes. Brian found Jason unconscious on the sidewalk and performed CPR on him before taking him to the hospital, where he died at the hospital. The case is still unsolved, with no new leads being found and an award of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the person responsible for Jason's death.
