Albuquerque Uber driver found not guilty in 2019 manslaughter case

An Albuquerque Uber driver, Clayton Benedict, has been acquitted of murdering his passenger, James Porter, in 2019. The charge was initially charged with second-degree murder, but after an appeal to the Supreme Court, it was reduced to manslaughter. The prosecution maintains that the shooting was in self-defence.
