Scientists Found a T. Rex Tooth Embedded in Another Dinosaur's Skull

Scientists have found a fossilized tooth embedded in a skull of a Tyrannosaurus rex, suggesting that the T. rex was a predator that hunted other dinosaurs for its meals and also scavenged for its dinner. The nearly complete Edmontosaurus skull was discovered in 2005 in eastern Montana and contains bite marks that indicate a powerful bite delivered to the animal's face. The bite marks indicate that the Edmontos were likely killed by the Tyrannosaurus and not just eaten. The researchers compared the embedded tooth's serrations to those of other Tyrannosaurus individuals found in other dinosaur fossils. They also found that the tooth was embedded after the animal died or shortly before it died.
