Security video captures elephant's great escape from zoo enclosure

The 52-year-old Asian elephant, Alice, escaped from her enclosure at BioPark Zoo in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on a Sunday morning walk down Main Street. The zoo's director, Brandon Gibson, stated that the section of fence Alice escaped through hadn't been updated in nearly 20 years and was reinforced with more pillars and steel. Staff quickly managed to secure the perimeter and return Alice safely to her enclosure. The incident was captured on security video and staff responded within 10 minutes using the same recall method they've trained with.
