Porsche Penske Motorsport's Felipe Nasr made history with his second consecutive victory in the Twelve Hours of Sebring, becoming the first IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar driver to win both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the endurance race in Sebring in consecutive years. This victory marks Nasr's second consecutive win for the team. The Brazilian driver closed out the Grand Touring Prototype win in the No. 7 Porsche 963. The No. 6 963 finished second with Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and Matt Campbell. The Porsches led 273 of 343 laps at Sebring after combining to lead 521 of 705 laps at Daytona. United Autosports USA won its 1-2 in LMP2, earning its maiden IMSA class win. The Matheny No. 911 Porsche e 911 GT3 R (992) also won in its Sebring debut, marking the first time in its fifth event.
