Gucci Mane's latest single, “Crash Dummy” appears to address the robbery and kidnapping case involving him against Pooh Shiesty, while also dissing his 1017 Records signee. The song, which was released on April 10, references Suge Knight's alleged violent negotiation tactics when running Death Row Records and attempts to bring Dr. Dre over from Eazy-E's Ruthless Records. Gucci Mane also criticizes Pooh's father and claims that Gucci himself put money on Shiest's commissary when he was locked up for over three years. Shiery, along with seven others, were arrested on robbery and kidnap charges April 1 after allegedly attempting to execute an "armed takeover" of Gucci and two others at a Dallas studio meet-up.
