Woman pleads guilty to deadly shooting in the Cleveland Metroparks

A 24-year-old Cleveland woman,avia Paul, has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and discharges of a firearm near a prohibited premises for the death of Kiara Jackson, a mother of two children. The shooting occurred at 3:35 a.m. on June 11, 2025. Jackson was found with a gunshot wound to the head. Paul turned herself in later that day and will be sentenced on May 7.
