Medford Resident Takes Center Court At Celtics Game For Her Nonprofit Efforts

Ari Barbanell, Executive Director of Circle of Hope in Boston, took to center court during a Celtics game as the designated "Hero Among Us". The charity provides essential supplies to homeless shelters throughout the region. Barbanel will replace Barbara Waterhouse as the leader of the organization in 2021. She was also honored for her contributions to Boston's Winter Walk, which has raised over $2 million since its start in 2016.
