Faith leaders have urged Congress to ensure that there are legal safeguards in relation to the use of artificial-intelligence weapons. The leaders of various religions, including Mormons, Jews, Christians and Hindus, have signed a letter urging Congress to establish legal boundaries on when and how the Pentagon may deploy AI-powered autonomous weapons. They believe that the sanctity of human life is a sacred right to be made up of human resources.
