Apple has revealed that the mastermind of U.K. iPhone thefts, Amir Khadikhel, has been identified as the mastermind behind a gang that arranged for over 60,000 stolen iPhones to be shipped abroad from the UK. The gang was responsible for up to 40 percent of the total number of iPhone thefts in London and was caught after a man used his phone tracing app to locate his stolen phone in a package bound for Hong Kong. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) Union has filed an Unfair Labor Practice charge against Apple alleging that the company retaliated due to unionized employees. An ex-deputy from Seattle has been sentenced to 17 months for stalking and unlawful use of an AirTag tracking device. The alleged crime also occurred when an accused murderer's iCloud account contained sex abuse images.
