Police investigating death of man found shot inside Dayton home as homicide

Police are investigating the death of 37-year-old William Talott who was found shot inside a Dayton home as a homicide. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Police responded to the home on a report of an unresponsive person and performed first aid, but he died on the scene. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office identified the man as Talott. The investigation remains under investigation by the Dayton Police Department's Homicide Unit.
