Hall of Fame to honor Packers equipment managers 'Red' Batty, Jack Noel

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced that Gordon "Red" Batty and Jack Noel, who worked together for over 60 seasons, will be among three individuals receiving Awards of Excellence from the Hall of Football. Batty was hired from the Houston Oilers in 1994 to succeed Bob Noel, Jack's brother, who had been the team's equipment manager since 1977. All three will be honored at a ceremony in Canton, Ohio on June 24. The Awards of Enlightenment are intended to recognize those who work behind the scenes in the NFL.
