The 17th Petersberg Climate Dialogue opened in Berlin, with UN Secretary General António Guterres calling for action on the global energy transition. This comes in response to rising prices due to the Iran war. Germany has hosted the dialogue since 2010 as a complement to the UN climate conferences.
