An early development of the “Animorphs” TV series is being developed at Disney+. Bayan Wolcott is writing and executive producing the adaptation, with Ryan Coogler, Zinzi and Sev Ohanian executive producing on behalf of Proximity Media. The show follows a group of teenagers who discover that the Earth is being taken over by a parasitic alien race known as Yeerks. The series was published by Scholastic, which also publishes the books on which the show is based. If successful, this would be the second "Animorph's" TV show to air on Disney+.
