REPORTS: Austin Mass Shooting Potentially Act of Terrorism Related to Iran: FBI

A man born in Senegal, Ndiaga Diagne, has been identified as the suspected Islamist terrorist behind a mass shooting outside a bar in Austin, Texas. The shooting, which left two people dead and injured 14, occurred between 1:30 and 2 a.m. local time on Sunday morning. Diagne was fatally shot by police after arriving on the scene. The FBI has stated that the shooting may have a potential nexus to terrorism. Early evidence indicated that Diagne had Islamist motives and had a history of mental health issues. The attack came one day after a series of strikes by the United States effectively decapitated Iranian political leadership, including killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
