Jack Nicklaus '1986' Masters documentary to air before final round

Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus will be featured in a new documentary about his final Masters win at age 46, "1986," which he defied age stereotypes to secure his 18th major victory and his sixth Masters win. The documentary will air before the 2026 Masters Tournament primetime coverage on April 12. It is the second-oldest player to win a major championship and the oldest Masters victor. The trailer from the documentary shows Nicklaus criticising Atlanta Journal-Constitution writer Tom McCollum for suggesting that Nicklaus was "done" before he won.
