Ohio to add 64 EV charging stations

The Ohio Department of Transportation is planning to invest $51 million to build 64 new EV charging sites through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program, with private developers investing another $26 million. The stations will be located at grocery stores, gas stations, travel centers, and retail hubs across the state. Each site will have at least four fast-charging ports with 150 kilowatts of power per port. The only planned location in the Cleveland city limits is at the Giant Eagle.
