Katelyn Dei, a 33-year-old woman from Kewaunee, Wisconsin, has seen her chickens find an unexpected way to keep their feet dry during a recent snowstorm where nearly 28 inches of snow blanketed her property. The video, which was widely shared on TikTok, showed the chickens climbing onto ducks to cross the yard. Dei says this was a surprise and amusing, given her background to raising poultry and 4-H raising poultry since childhood. She shared the video with the millions of views and is pleased to see people enjoying it. Despite the extreme weather conditions, Dei notes that while she has lived in Wisconsin her entire life, this is the first time she has seen chickens so confused by the snow and hop on another animal to get around.
