NASCAR drivers have been assigned to squadrons at Naval Base Coronado ahead of June's historic three-race weekend to celebrate the nation's 250th birthday. This is part of NASCAR's latest visit to the base, with drivers Christopher Bell and Ty Dillon visiting the base and also visiting patients at Rady's Children’s Hospital. Since the inaugural race was announced last October, over a dozen drivers have visited the site and shared time with servicemen.
