Bakery truck driver Warren Boardley Jr. narrowly escaped death when a United Airlines flight struck his vehicle at Newark Airport. Boardley, who works for the Baltimore-based H&S Bakery, witnessed a flash of light seconds before the plane clipped his truck. The incident occurred on the New Jersey Turnpike and was captured on dashcam video. Despite minor injuries, Boardley Sr. stated that if he had been going one mile per hour faster or slower, it would have likely killed him. The family is awaiting to hear back from United and airport officials to learn what caused the plane to hit Boardley's truck.
