Vineyard, Utah, has halted new trucks, $50k bridge mural, and $50,000 street sweeper purchases as part of a plan to cut $1 million from the city's $14 million budget. New city administrative director David Kyle stated that these items were part of the budget to replace the 8-year-old trucks the city already has. He said that these decisions will save almost $600,000 this year. The city has also cut staff and called off a $50K mural at a bridge still under construction.
