On the third anniversary of the death of champion race car driver Justin Owen, who died in an accident at Lawrenceburg Speedway, the city of Lawrenceburg has named Justin Owen Ln. The street where every race at the Speedway will begin, Justin Owen Lane, will now be named for him. The announcement was kept a secret until the unveiling of a school bus bearing the number four on the car used to race, which was loaned to the Speedway for the surprise. Track Safety Director Bob Gompf revealed that the decision to name the street was made after months of planning. The unveiling was emotional for Owen's family and his dad, Scott Cable.
