G.L. Rockey, a former Hinckley Township resident from Strongsville, Ohio, has published numerous publications throughout his career, including a list of publications covering topics such as newsroom politics and Cleveland nostalgia. His latest novel, "Missing," explores the subject of human trafficking in a TV newsroom, with the author's authority as a behind the camera, in the control room and inside the machinery of modern media. The novel follows a news director and his reporter who are both on camera and off, leading them into the world of human trafficked. Despite not being a light read for younger audiences, Rockey's work offers a chilling, adult look at a world most people never see. His previous works include "The Journalist" and "Memories of a Steak House Clan" and his trilogy "Phoenix Gumshoe" which tackles the dangers of fake news and political manipulation.
