Netflix's documentary BTS: THE RETURN, directed by Bao Nguyen and producer Jane Cha, has been released on streaming platforms. The film follows the group's return after a four-year hiatus for mandatory military service, following which they returned to their fan base after a decade-long hiatus. The director likened the comeback to the Odyssey, the epic journey of Odysseus, the journey of the group members. The documentary, which also includes candid car interviews and a rare look inside studio sessions in Los Angeles, explores the group’s creative process and the origins of the album’�s title, which is rooted in the traditional Korean folk song Arirang. The song “SWIM” is the central theme of the film, with the song "SWIM" being played by BTS.
