Sterling Heights gym parking lot shooting leads to charges

A West Bloomfield Township resident, Joseph Maroof, has been charged with shooting and wounding a teenager outside a Sterling Heights gym. Maroof is accused of discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle, causing an injury, carrying a concealed weapon, and possessing counterfeit money. The charges were brought forward in court.
