Manslaughter Charges For Concord Woman Suspected In Pleasant Hill Red Light Crash

A 41-year-old woman was killed after a driver ran a red light and struck her as she crossed the street in Pleasant Hill, California. The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office charged 45-year old Angelina Marina Solis with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, multiple DUI-related felonies and enhancements related to the incident. The victim died at the scene. After the collision, Solis fled and was arrested later that morning. The charges include multiple counts of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage causing injury, driving with a.08% blood alcohol content, and leaving the scene of an accident.
