NWS confirms EF1 tornado in Franklinton and EF0 tornadoes near Bush and Folsom

The National Weather Service has confirmed multiple tornadoes in Washington Parish following severe storms that moved through southeast Louisiana. The EF1 tornado was reported near Franklinton, with the EF0 tornadoes near Bush and Folsom also reported. Additional survey details are still being finalized. The storms caused 20 tornado warnings across southeast Louisiana and coastal Mississippi and caused significant structural damage.
