2 arrested after armed robbery at Wethersfield Family Dollar

Two people have been arrested following an armed robbery at a Family Dollar in Wethersfield, Connecticut, on Saturday night. The robbery occurred at around 10 p.m. The suspects, identified as 57-year-old Miguel Ramirez and 48-year old Susette Mendes, were identified by the victim after an in-field show-up was completed. Following the investigation, Mendes admitted to selling the stolen merchandise at a location in Hartford and was found in possession of a knife. Both individuals are facing multiple charges including robbery and drug possession.
