Daiki Hirokawa, suspected in the fatal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, 21-year-old Moe Harukawa, has previously told Harukaw to quit her job at the Pokémon Center. The attack was reportedly fueled by HarUKawa's refusal to leave her job and Hirokaw's obsession with her. The pair had dated for nine months in October 2024 and HarUKaw reportedly ended their relationship after Hirokowski belittled her position. Despite being arrested on suspicion of stalking last year, Hirokow refused to undergo recommended psychiatric and medical consultations.
