Philadelphia's air quality gets an F

The American Lung Association's annual State of the Air report has given Philadelphia an F for all three measures of pollution, including high ozone days. This puts the city at risk of health issues such as shortness of breath and lung cancer. The region also ranked 17th nationally for the worst annual particle pollution and 43rd for high ozone levels. Despite this, pollution has significantly decreased since the 1990s.
