Local woman leads through service, helping families

Donna Hines, a local woman who has served more than two decades in northeastern Pennsylvania, has been instrumental in helping thousands of families through food distribution efforts and community events. Hines began volunteering with organizations after her son was born premature and she pledged to return to aid in improving the quality of life for other children. Her work has earned national recognition, including honors from the Points of Light Foundation for community service. After more than 20 years of service, Hines hopes her story will inspire others to follow in and help.
