UConn Huskies women's basketball team is close to a title repeat, following a 90-51 victory over Villanova in the Big East tournament final. This victory was the team's 31st conference tournament crown and 12th consecutive victory. The team, led by Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd, are six victories away from their 13th NCAA title and seventh perfect season. If they repeat as national champions, they will have a better record than last season's team, a better overall record.
