Microsoft is launching a new Agent Mode for Office apps in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, a more powerful version of the Copilot experience in Office that Microsoft has been trying to sell to businesses. The new Mode allows Copilot to better follow commands and edits in documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. It also allows users to watch Copilot's actions in real time, adding formulas or tables in Excel and updating existing decks with fresh information. These features are now available for Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft 365 Premium subscribers.
