Hinsdale Faces Setback In Pavilion Project

The two bids for the proposed pavilion at Hinsdale's Burlington Park, Illinois, have come in excess of the $350,000 budget. The highest bidder failed to meet the state's mandated prevailing wage structure, resulting in a rejection of the project. The village is now seeking permission to negotiate with the company for an updated proposal within the budget.
