Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo and Attorney General Aaron Ford are locked in a statistical dead heat in the 2026 governor's race for the state's governor's seat, according to an early poll by Noble Predictive Insight. The survey, conducted by 845 registered Nevada Voters, showed Lombardo with 39 percent support if the election were held today and Ford with 38 percent, falling within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 3.37 percent. While 6 percent of voters said they would cast a ballot for a third-party candidate, 17 percent remained undecided. The poll also found that Ford would likely defeat any other Republican in the Republican primary, defeating any other listed Republicans by up to 6 percentage points. Despite this, Lombardo's popularity remains a significant factor in the race, with 67 percent of Republicans and 67 percent indicating that his endorsement for the election would influence them.
