Former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne has agreed to a four-year, $52 million deal with the New Orleans Saints. This follows the recent signing of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs. Etienne, a Louisiana native, had a successful four year run with the Jaguars after being selected 25th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. He missed his entire rookie season due to a foot injury, but performed well in his first season with 1,441 all-purpose yards, including 11 touchdown runs and 476 receiving yards. His performance helped the Jaguars record a 13-4 record. The Saints' signing likely means they will address another position with the eighth overall pick in April's draft.
