Minnesota bills on kid social media rules, inspector general move

The Minnesota House is moving forward with a bill to create an inspector general’s office to address fraud in relation to child social media use. The legislation has bipartisan support and is still working with the DFL-controlled Senate. The Minneapolis City Council has delayed a vote on funds related to a new public safety training facility. Meanwhile, the Minnesota DNR has reminded residents to keep pet food inside, clean grills, and secure garbage and recycling bins. The former governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, argues that a Pine Island data center project should be a blueprint for how data centers can be built.
