Fredericksburg Transit Secures $30K Grants For Healthcare Access

The Joe and Mary Wilson Community Benefit Fund of Mary Washington Hospital Foundation has awarded $20,000 to Fredericksburg Transit (FXBGO) for healthcare access. The funds will be used to continue providing public transit service in the region. The agency stated that the service facilitates access to healthcare through public transportation and helps address health issues through the benefits and connections it provides. Additionally, the transit system plans to conduct "Ride FXBGO!" individual training sessions and educate the public.
