Victor Wembanyama rises to No. 2 on NBA’s ‘MVP Ladder’

San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama is considered among the favorites to win the NBA's Most Valuable Player award for the 2025-26 NBA season, according to NBA.com's MVP Ladder. This move comes after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the current favorite for the award, was moved up two spots on the ladder, forcing Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokić to drop to No. 3. Wempy is averaging 26.6 points, 11 rebounds and 3.8 blocks in nine March games.
