Warm front approaches, record high temps anticipated

A significant warmup is on the way for the New Year, with temperatures expected to reach record highs by mid-November. The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement due to an elevated risk of fire. Temperatures are expected to rise from around 10 to 20 degrees above normal and potentially exceed 80 degrees from Tuesday through the next day.
