A watchdog group, Americans for Public Trust, has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission alleging campaign finance violations against U.S. Senate candidate Dan Osborn. The complaint alleges that Osborn used campaign funds to pay multiple family members and their businesses at rates exceeding fair market value, potentially violating a longstanding prohibition on using campaign funds for personal use. The group also alleges Osborn improperly controlled two federal political action committees, the Working Class Heroes Fund and the League of Labor Voters.
