Poland is reportedly planning to introduce a new law to tax certain digital services revenue at up to 3%, potentially affecting companies like Apple. The proposal was criticized by the U.S. ambassador to Poland, Tom Rose, as a self destructive tax that will negatively impact Poland's relations with the United States. The draft law uses broad language to clarify its scope, which could affect multiple Apple services such as the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Books, and Apple Podcasts. If approved, the law would only apply to companies with more than 1 billion euros in global revenue and over 25 million zlotys in domestic revenue.
