Adam Driver accidentally invented the "Adam Driver bar" during his Star Wars role as Kylo Ren. The bar was placed in the recording booth by Dave Franco, who explained it as a support for Driver during his ADR work. This created the bar, which is now referred to as the Adam Driver bar by industry insiders. Given the intensity of the character, Driver needed something to ground himself during ADR.
