Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, has been trying to persuade franchise-tagged receiver George Pickens to abandon his agent, David Mulugheta, as opposed to him. This move comes after Jones' previous attempt to negotiate directly with players, which led to the collapse of his relationship with linebacker Micah Parsons last year. Despite this, the NFL Players Association has not yet taken action against Jones' efforts to undermine the relationships between his players and their agents. The current Collective Bargaining Agreement allows for minimal fines for circumventing agents, but Jones has made it clear he would happily pay them.
