A series of storms will continue moving southeast through the morning, followed by a lull in activity, with isolated showers and storms redeveloping by the afternoon and evening. Looking ahead, the first 90-degree days of 2026 are possible by early next week, potentially challenging record high temperatures in Baton Rouge. The upper-level ridge will weaken by midweek, allowing a few frontal boundaries to move through, increasing rain chances and potentially lowering temperatures to the mid-evening of the day.
