U.S. Treasury yields steady as traders monitor Middle East de-escalation

The 10-year U.S. Treasury note yield, the key benchmark for government borrowing, remained steady at 4.2994%. The 2-year Treasury note yields were also flat at 3.7690%. This follows Israel and Lebanon agreeing to a 10-day ceasefire following talks in Washington. Meanwhile, borrowing costs in the US also increased following new labor market data showing a decrease in jobless claims. The president has stated that an end to the Iran war is in sight, despite the ongoing naval blockade.
