Microsoft has announced plans to improve Windows 11 by reducing the number of ads in the operating system and creating a moveable version of the Dock. The moveable Taskbar is part of Microsoft's plan to make Windows run lighter and use fewer resources when it is not doing anything. The Mac is currently experiencing launch records, largely due to the threat to Windows PCs by the $599 MacBook Neo. Meanwhile, Microsoft has unveiled plans to make several major changes to Windows 11 to win back user trust and evolve the platform into something people will actually want to use.
