Major issues remain unresolved, including Israel's ongoing war against Hezbollah and Iran's refusal to fully open the Strait of Hormuz. Despite the truce, residents fear lasting damage to industries and infrastructure that helped Iran survive decades of international sanctions. The strikes killed over 1,900 people and wounded over 5,700, according to Iranian authorities.
