D.C. gunman’s manifesto entered in DOJ case against him

Prosecutors in the case against Cole Tomas Allen, accused of attempting to shoot Trump administration officials at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, have included a manifesto he sent to acquaintances prior to the attack. The manifesto includes an apology for misleading family, colleagues, and everyone he was in contact with for misleading them about his itinerary. It lists "administration officials" as top priority, but does not include FBI Director Kash Patel. The letter also mentions the possibility of shooting Secret Service agents if necessary. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt blamed Democrats, media, and a "left-wing cult of hatred" for creating a divisive and partisan environment.
