45th Istanbul Film Festival announces winners

The 45th Istanbul Film Festival, hosted by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, ended with an awards ceremony on April 19. The festival featured 39 short and feature-length films, with the Golden Tulip Jury awarding the top prize to "Prenses Mumbi," directed by Damien Hauser, and the Jury Special Prize. The Best Director Award was given to Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret for “Yaz Kamp’s” and the Best Screenplay Award to Markus Schleinzer and Alexander Brom for "Rose". Other winners included İnci Sefa Cingöz for Best Actress and Kemal Burak Alper for Best Actor. The Seyfi Teoman Best Film Award went to "32 Metre" directed by Morteza Atabaki, who also won Best Editing for the same film.
